Restoration Note:
According to original Ford records, some early 19871988 Fox Body Mustangs were equipped with a full bright lock set. This style was soon replaced by the black center with black outer ring version. For the full black finish, see NPD part number M-21984-13A.
Installation Note:
-To ensure proper installation and compatibility, you should reuse your original trunk lid lock cylinder retainer and gasket or refer to NPD part number M-43629-1AK for the correct kit.
-Note that cutting and bending of the included trunk lock rod will be necessary for proper installation. NPD provides the correct OEM style rods, which can be purchased under part numbers M-43283-1A and M-43283-2A, ensuring a proper fit and function.
-The trunk lock cylinder may require a small amount of modification to ensure that the retainer installs properly, which will help secure the lock cylinder correctly and ensure smooth operation.
-The glove box lock is designed for 1987-1993 Mustang only
