This package includes a complete set of TWO (2) 2″ heater connection assemblies, each containing: one split nut, two screws, one 2″ slip x 2″ threaded union with gasket for 2″ heater applications, plus one 2″ slip x 2″ street slice gate valve. The split nut component attaches directly to your heater tube using the included pair of screws, creating a secure mounting point. It then threads onto the union fitting with the gasket positioned between the union and heater tube for a watertight seal. Verify compatibility: Your plumbing should measure 2 3/8″ outside diameter for 2″ size, while your heater tube should measure 2″ on the interior with threading that measures 3″ outside diameter – this configuration represents the most commonly used size. Alternative dimensions include 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 (second most common) and 1 1/2″ x 2 (third most common).
