Description
Replace a worn or failed distributor stator with this replacement-style Stator Assembly, designed for use with select Ford Dura-Spark electronic ignition distributors. Also commonly referred to as a distributor pickup or ignition pickup, the stator detects distributor shaft position and provides the timing signal used by the ignition system for proper spark control.
This replacement-style stator is designed as a service replacement for the original distributor pickup and is an excellent choice when servicing or rebuilding a factory-style Ford distributor equipped with the Dura-Spark ignition system. A failing stator can cause hard starting, intermittent ignition problems, stalling, misfires, or a complete loss of spark.
Replace the failed internal pickup without replacing the complete distributor assembly and get your Ford’s ignition system back to reliable operation.
