Note this kit includes both adjustable hood bumpers and correct style jam nuts for 1979-1982 Mustangs. This kit features the US thread 5/16-18 style jamb nuts that was used in 1979-1982 core supports. The adjustable hood bumpers are OE correct design with correct nut and yellow zinc plated shafts.
Note:
This kit will work on 1983-88 models that used the M8 metric thread style jam nuts if you replace them with the US thread version that is included in this kit. The current M8 metric jam nuts are not currently available. See M-16763-2K for correct adjustable hood bumpers with M8 thread to be used with you factory jam metric jamb nuts.
